The full STONE range — THE 600, THE 1100, THE 1700 and the MPW Signature edition — is available to view by appointment at our North Yorkshire showroom in Brompton on Swale. Prices start at £7,750 for THE 600 and run to £17,250 for THE 1700. Every STONE Cooker comes with a 7-year parts warranty, over 25 colour options, and is hand-built in the UK.
Three decades of working on Aga range cookers has taught us what people love about the format — the cast iron heart, the family kitchen anchor, the cooking character — and what frustrates them. Width 1688mm. The flagship of the STONE range and the cooker for kitchens where scale matters. Three stone-lined ovens plus a fan-assisted, an extra fan, and a slow-cooking oven. 60.5 litres of total oven capacity. Eight cast iron hot plates as standard or the optional 3-zone Octa-Induction hob. Built for households that cook seriously and entertain regularly.

Width 1100mm. Designed in collaboration with Marco Pierre White, who is STONE’s brand ambassador, mentor and shareholder. Black enamel front and doors, polished marine-grade lids engraved with the MPW crest, black chrome hardware, and signature details that aren’t available on any other STONE model. Built on the same platform as THE 1100 with the same cooking specification.

Visits typically take 45 to 90 minutes depending on which models you want to see and how many questions you have. We’ll happily run cookers up to temperature, demonstrate Pizza Mode, walk through the app, and talk through colour options.
Where can I see a STONE Cooker in Yorkshire? At the John Wray Range Cookers showroom in Brompton on Swale, near Richmond, North Yorkshire (DL10 7EQ). All four STONE models are available to view by appointment.
Are STONE Cookers really British-made? Yes. Every STONE Cooker is hand-built at the company’s UK workshop in Wootton, Bedfordshire, using marine-grade stainless steel and stone-lined oven construction.
What’s special about a stone-lined oven? Stone holds and radiates heat in a way that’s closer to a wood-fired oven than a conventional electric one. It gives consistent oven temperatures, excellent heat retention, and a noticeably different cooking character — particularly evident in Pizza Mode, which reaches up to 375°C.
Is a STONE Cooker an alternative to an Aga? For some customers, yes. STONE is fully electric, fully programmable, and fast to heat up — directly addressing the running cost and lighting concerns of older oil-fired Aga models. The aesthetic is contemporary rather than traditional. We’d recommend visiting the showroom to compare both.
How much does a STONE Cooker cost? THE 600 starts at £7,750. THE 1100 from £14,250. THE 1700 from £17,250. The MPW Signature edition from £14,500. Hob upgrades and bespoke colour options are extra.
What’s the warranty? 7 years parts, 12 months labour, on every STONE Cooker. The warranty is honoured by John Wray Range Cookers as your retailer and by STONE as the manufacturer.
Do you deliver and install? Yes. Free delivery and installation within 100 miles of our showroom — covering Yorkshire, Cumbria, Lancashire, the North East, and parts of the East Midlands and Lincolnshire. Outside that radius we’ll quote based on postcode.
Can I order a bespoke colour? Yes. STONE offers over 25 standard front panel colours and bespoke matching is also available. We’ll talk through the options at your showroom appointment.
How long is the lead time? STONE Cookers are made to order. Lead times vary by model and configuration but are typically 8 to 12 weeks from order. We’ll confirm the lead time on your specific cooker at the time of order.
Do I need to commit at the showroom visit? No. Showroom appointments are no-pressure. Most customers visit to compare options, take measurements home, and make a decision in their own time.
