Reconditioned Aga Piercebridge

Indeed, we do! Agas that have been refurbished and reconditioned are fairly similar, but they differ slightly. We typically install an entirely new system when reconditioning an Aga, such as using an ElectricKit to convert it to electric. Refurbished Agas, on the other hand, have upgraded parts, such as a brand-new gas hob, but retain their original fuel source, such as gas. We are pleased to offer both refurbishing and reconditioning services in Piercebridge, so you can select the one that best suits your requirements.

Yes, you can turn down most Aga models at night. Electric models, such as those with eControl or 13amp, allow you to adjust the settings and reduce heat to save energy. Gas and oil Agas often have a night-time or slumber mode for low-temperature operation during off-hours. For older models without these features, Contact us to discuss possible upgrades for better temperature control.

Yes. A conversion replaces the combustion system with modern electric elements while keeping the cast iron cooking you love. It is work we carry out week in, week out across the region, including Piercebridge.

We do. Through our Sell Your Aga service we buy cookers outright, and we also offer an exchange option where you trade in your current Aga against one of our reconditioned models.

An Aga cooker is made to give off a soft, steady heat into the room. Different models give off different amounts of heat, but a traditional Aga usually gives off enough heat to warm a kitchen comfortably, so you may not need to use any other heat. An Aga can add about 1 to 2 kilowatts of heat to the room, keeping it warm while you cook.

The boiling plate, which is on top of the cooker, is the hottest part of an Aga. The boiling plate is great for quickly boiling water or searing food. Also, the roasting oven is very hot, which makes it great for baking and roasting at high temperatures.

Modern electric Agas are designed to be energy-efficient. Models with advanced controls, like eControl, allow you to adjust settings and reduce energy usage, making them more economical than older models.
